Consultation-led

Assessed in person, never off a price list

This page works differently from the others, and deliberately so. You will not find a menu, prices or before and afters here. What you will find is an honest explanation of why.

Why this page is different

Some treatments cannot be advertised

A number of aesthetic treatments involve a prescription-only medicine. In the UK it is against the law to advertise those to the public, and that applies to naming them, pricing them, showing results from them, or nudging around it with a euphemism everybody understands.

Plenty of clinics work around this. We would rather not, partly because the rule exists for a decent reason. A prescription treatment should be reached through an assessment by someone qualified to make it, not chosen off a list because it looked good on somebody else.

So the conversation happens in person. Once you are in the room, Karrina can talk you through what is suitable, what is not, and what it costs, without any of it having to be dressed up first.

What we can discuss

Skin quality, openly

Not everything on the aesthetic side is a medicine. Several of the treatments Karrina uses are regulated as medical devices, and those can be named, explained and priced like anything else.

They are also, for a lot of people, the better starting point. Skin that is hydrated and behaving itself changes a face more than most people expect, and it does so without committing you to anything.

  • Polynucleotide skin boosters Vitaran, a CE-marked polynucleotide derived from purified salmon DNA, used to support the skin's own repair. A device, not a medicine.
  • Skin quality treatments Hydration, texture and tone, usually as a short course. Often what someone actually wanted when they came in asking about something else.
  • An honest assessment Including being told that nothing is needed, which happens more often than you might think.

The consultation

What actually happens

No pressure and no obligation to book anything at the end of it. The point is to find out whether there is something worth doing, and that answer is sometimes no.

  1. Before Bring photographs Of yourself, or of results you like. Far easier to work from than a description.
  2. Assessment Face and skin Structure, skin condition, how your face moves and what is actually causing what you have noticed.
  3. History Medical review Conditions, medications, allergies and anything relevant. Some of it rules treatments out.
  4. Discussion Options and costs What is suitable, what it involves, what it costs and what it will not do.
  5. After Time to think Nothing is booked on the spot unless you want it to be.

Suitability is assessed individually and cannot be judged from a photograph, a message or a phone call. Some people are not suitable for treatment, and that is established at consultation rather than afterwards.

No obligation

Book a consultation

Come and ask. You will get a straight answer about what is worth doing and what is not, which is worth more than a price list you cannot make sense of.
